STORY BEHIND DANIEL WELLINGTON
It was a coincidental meeting halfway around the world that inspired the idea for Daniel Wellington.

Our founder Filip Tysander met a charming English gentleman with impeccable style but understated. This man especially likes to wear his vintage watches on weathered old NATO straps. Inspired by him, Filip decided to create his own watch collection. Simple yet sophisticated, the classic design with interchangeable straps has become a staple with truly broad appeal. Years later, this design is still part of what makes Daniel Wellington special.

The Classic Collection
Embracing minimalist Scandinavian design principles, the Classic watch is made to look and feel featherlight. The metal bezel surrounding the dial is ultra-thin, and the case back is beveled to achieve a near-seamless profile. The Classic watch was the first to feature our signature twelve index dial, which has an ideal balance between the index markers and the hour hands for an overall elegant appearance.

I love the band
I got this to celebrate success with university classes. I love the band, the watch is 40mm so that worked well with my large hands. The face lays flat on my wrist and I love that. The price was perfect for my budget. I also purchased 4 other colors in 20mm watch bands - so it looks like I have 4 watches. I can't wait to change the band on it. Really elated that I made the leap and got it.

probably my favorite watch . I've never gotten so many compliments on a watch. Every single time at work I have a t least 1-2 customers telling me how much they like my watch. Many people say "omg is that a Daniel Wellington? I love it" . It makes me feel like it's a Rolex or something :)) very lovely watch and good quality
