I received these shoes 3 weeks ago and have worn them every day since. I was a little skeptical at first since the toes seemed a tad tight but they had loosened up after my first full day of wear. The inside of the shoe is mostly neoprene (which cuts down on friction on my heel) and has no tongue, which is a welcome improvement over the typical Asics I buy. I spend a lot of my time walking on hard tile flooring so the gel soles is what draws me to Asics and these guys don't disappoint. At the end of the day, I'm still going strong and I don't get the pain I get from other sneaker brands. The biggest plus is the colors; I find the current running shoe trends really neat and it can be difficult to find awesome shoes in mens sizes. As a bonus, there was a second set of teal laces included, which I quickly swapped the purple out with.

love these for trail runners, I wan to stock them. Unlike most running shoes, they are a little more constructed and have more durable uppers w/o the weight of hiking shoe. It's very rocky desert where I hike & run, and most running shoes just won' last. I have had these a few months now and they are holding up much better. They also have enough cushion that it doesnt hurt when you step on pointy rocks. I'd say overall they fit a little tighter, particularly around the arch than normal ASICS, but not enough to downgrade from your normal size or width. I hope to get more.

However, for these types of Asics I normally order a 12. When I got these in a 12, they were too big. So ... order your normal size for these.

I want to thank the reviewer here who pointed out that these Asics were NOT sized too large, as are New Balance and some other brands. That saved me from ordering 12s, which I likely would have had to return. So I went down a half size to 11.5, and they fit perfectly. I'm actually a size 11. I like to think I'm immune to fashion trends, but the colored running shoe craze sucked me in. So I have NBs in red, and sky blue, but wanted purple, which NB doesn't carry. I've had Asics before, and were happy with them. These are comfortable, look good, and if my former experience with Asics holds, will be durable. I could do without the orange accents, but that's a minor quibble.

These shoes look great however I was looking to actually run in them. I had this particular model recommended for me by a local running store and they seemed like a great fit for the type of support I needed. My problem came not from the support they provided while running but rather how they are constructed. The stripes on the side of the shoe are a thick rubber that is stitched in between the leather and mesh which is apparent when you first put them on, even more apparent after you walk/jog/run a couple yards in them. I thought that maybe after they broke in the problem would go away, it didn't. I reached out to ASICS directly, thinking that it must be a warranty defect and was told that it likely was not but that I could pay to send them off and then pay to ship them back to me if it wasn't covered. With how confident they were that my issue was not a warranty defect it didn't seem like a good option to send them off, but at least they look nice in my closet...

I have worn ASICS Gel shoes for years. They are best for those over 65. I am 71. I bought these shoes in Oct 2019. I worn them for a trade show in January 2020. I was in my feet working with customers 8 hours per day for 4 days. These shoes with Walkhero command support, also on Amazon are the best trade show shoes I have worn in my life. This show was year 46 for me. I have tried many trade show shoes. These shoes with inserts are my best. I ordered another pair to use after I wear out the pair I purchased in October. Seriously, these are excellent. Be sure to replace the factory inserts with WalkHero Command Support.

E' il secondo paio di scarpe di questo tipo che acquisto su Amazon.
Il motivo è ovvio: mi ci sono trovato bene.
A onor del vero devo dire che, relativamente alle prime che ho avuto, di colore blu, una scollatura in punta della scarpa dx, mi ha dato un pò di fastidio, se non altro ne ha rimesso l'estetica. Ho rimediato attaccandola con della colla di tanto in tanto, ma la corsa non ne ha risentito minimamente.
Pagate in entrambi i casi meno di 50 euro, ci si fa tranquillamente trenta chilometri di fila, ma credo anche una maratona.
Hanno una buona ammortizzazione, avvolgono il piede in maniera naturale, sono molto leggere, comode e si piegano con grande facilità. Un accorgimento che consiglio di adottare: evitare di correre su sentieri dove i piedi potrebbero impigliarsi tra piccoli rovi, rischio di sfilacciamento delle maglie della struttura delle scarpe.
Con le seconde ci ho corso due mezze maratone e fatto circa settecento km. Ora le uso solo in gara perché in allenamento utilizzo altro, che ahimè ho pagato più del doppio ma che mi ritrovo bucate agli alluci dopo 200 km!
Insomma, credo che non ci sia due senza tre!!!
